Mini-split installation in Jonesboro, AR

Our crew has installed ductless mini-split systems across Northeast Arkansas for more than 20 years — single-zone bedrooms and garages, multi-zone whole homes, shops, offices, and storefronts. We size it right, mount it clean, and commission it properly, so your system delivers the comfort it was built for.

Rather do it yourself? Complete heat & cool systems start at $499 (installation extra, prices subject to change) — about 90% of our customers go that route. See our DIY mini-split systems.

What's included

What a professional install covers

A mini-split lives or dies by the quality of its installation. Here's the scope of a typical Comfort Kings install, from the first look at your space to the moment you take the remote.

  • Site survey & sizing help — we look at the space, talk through how you use it, and help you land on the right capacity and number of zones, since a poorly sized system can cost you in comfort and efficiency.
  • Mounting the indoor unit(s) — each head is mounted level and secure, placed for good airflow and a clean look in the room.
  • Setting the outdoor condenser — the outdoor unit goes on a stable base with proper clearance for airflow and future service access.
  • Line set & drain — refrigerant lines are connected and routed neatly along the exterior, and the condensate drain is run so water goes where it should — away from your walls.
  • System commissioning & walkthrough — we start the system, verify it heats and cools the way it should, and walk you through the remote, the modes, and the simple maintenance that keeps it happy.

Every project is a little different — a second-story head or a long line run is a different job than a head on an exterior wall — so we quote each install individually, for free, before any work begins.

Why choose pro install

Done right the first time

Most of our customers install their own systems — and we love that. But if you'd rather not spend a Saturday on a ladder, here's what handing it to the Kings gets you.

  • Two decades of installs — in homes, garages, shops, and businesses across Northeast Arkansas
  • Careful refrigerant work — lines connected, evacuated, and checked with proper tools, the step DIYers sweat the most
  • A tidy finished job — clean penetrations, neat line routing, and no mess left behind
  • Tested before we leave — you see it heating and cooling with your own eyes before we call it done
  • Local backup for the long haul — service, cleaning, and repair are one phone call away, from the same shop that installed it

Heat pumps & multi-zone

One outdoor unit. Every room its own temperature.

Here's a fact that surprises a lot of first-time buyers: every mini-split we sell is a heat pump. One system both heats and cools — no separate furnace, no window units in July.

Instead of burning fuel to make heat, a heat pump moves heat — pulling it out of your home in summer and drawing it in from the outdoor air in winter. That's why mini-splits can be so efficient to run, and modern units are built to keep heating in temperatures well below freezing — more than a typical Northeast Arkansas winter throws at them.

Want comfort in more than one room? A multi-zone system connects a single outdoor condenser to two or more indoor heads. Each head has its own remote and its own temperature setting, so the bedroom can sit cool for sleeping while the living room stays cozy — and rooms nobody's using aren't costing you money. It's whole-home comfort without tearing into walls and ceilings to run ductwork.

Multi-zone sizing takes a little more planning than a single head, and that's where we come in. Tell us about your rooms and we'll help you map out zones that fit the space and the budget.

Installation questions, answered

How long does a mini-split installation take?
It depends on the job — mostly on how many zones you're installing and the specifics of your space. A single head on an exterior wall is a much smaller project than a four-zone system spread across two floors. When we quote your install, we'll tell you up front how long we expect the work to take, so there are no surprises on install day.
Do you install mini-splits bought somewhere else?
Call us at (870) 378-6004 — we'll talk through what you have and go from there. Every brand and situation is a little different, so a quick conversation is the fastest way to a straight answer.
How does pricing work for single vs. multi-zone installs?
Every install is quoted individually, because the price depends on the equipment, the number of zones, and how much work your particular space involves. A multi-zone system means more heads, more line runs, and more labor than a single zone. Quotes are always free — call (870) 378-6004 and we'll price out both options so you can compare.
